Puisi Prometheus Unbound Refleksi filsafat Hermeneutik suatu telaah Hermeneutik

Abstract

This research is entitled "The poem Prometheus unbound as a reflection of Hermeneutic philosophy in Hermeneutic analysis", and the author will focus on the following problems 1. Can the excavation of meaning in the poem Prometheus Unbound be done through Hermeneutic analysis? and 2. Does this poem by Shelley contain philosophical Hermeneutica? The author uses descriptive qualitative method with Hermeneutic theory and Hermeneutic Philosophy to analyze the meaning of the text in the poem. In addition, the author also applies relevant theories to strengthen the analysis. The theories used include: Hermeneutic theory which includes Hermeneutic theory and Hermeneutica philosophy theory, as well as the development of Hermeneutic Philosophy and its figures. After completing data collection, investigation and checking reliability and validity, the author managed to find answers to his analysis as follows 1) Hermeneutic is able to understand the meaning itself which never stops at one time but always changes according to historical modifications. 2) Shelley's poem contains philosophical Hermeneutic which is represented by several philosophers such as F.D.E Schleiermacher, and Wilhelm Dilthey. And in conclusion, Shelley in his work applies elements of the history of Napoleon Bonaparte's power and applies Greek mythology with regard to displaying the
arbitrary power of Jupiter and his troops but getting resistance from Prometheus as a representative of the people who demand justice through the love of Earth and Asia who tirelessly support and pray for their struggle.
