Abstract

Demotivation has been a popular topic in recent years. Especially in this era of post-pandemic education where education switched and transformed from traditional to digital. Demotivation is defined as the loss of interest of students in learning. Demotivation harms students’ learning, therefore it should be identified early. After the pandemic, there seems to be a decrease in students’ motivation. Studies have particularly focused only on demotivation without an in-depth investigation of students’ learning styles. Learning style is also one of the essential factors in determining students’ success in learning. If the learning does not cover students’ preferred learning style, this will result in not optimal. This study also finds that the learning style preferred by students is the visual learning style, the next place is reading/writing learners, followed by kinesthetic learning style.
