GUY’S CHARACTERIZATIONS AND HIS CREATIVITIES AS AN NPC PLAYER REFLECTED IN FREE GUY MOVIE (2021) BY SHAWN LEVY

Abstract

 The topic of this research is Guy’s characterizations and his creativities as an NPC player reflected in the Free Guy movie by Shawn Levy. More specifically, this study aims to answer two fundamental questions, namely What kind of characterizations are reflected through Guy as an NPC player in the movie?

The purpose of this study is to give us a deeper understanding of the characterization of the major character in Free Guy film.

The approach used in this study is a structural approach especially theory of characterization method in fiction with a descriptive qualitative method. The data analyzed were obtained from the Free Guy movie itself as primary data and journals, e-books and others related to this research are called secondary data. The techniques used are watching and identifying.

The findings of the research provide two contributions: Academically and practically . The result of the research shows that there two characterization with direct and indirect methods as reflected in Guy’s characterization.
