Jann Mardenborough's Conflict and Struggle to Motivate Himself to Become a Racecar Driver

Abstract

The subject of this study is a biographical sports drama movie examining conflict, struggles, and motivation through the character of Jann Mardenborough. This study seeks to explore two main questions, namely, Jann Mardenborough's conflict and struggles in GT Academic and Jann Mardenborough’s motivation to become a racecar driver. The purpose of this study is to explore Jann’s conflicts, struggles, and motivations for achieving his goals. This study applies the descriptive-qualitative method using the technique of watching movies and taking notes. Besides, the writer takes a psychological approach. The result of this study has two contributions. First, theoretically, this study helps us understand conflicts, struggles, and motivation by looking at how the main characters in the film handle these things. By studying what the main character experiences in the film, we learn about how conflict and struggles are related to each other and the motivation to achieve a goal. Second, practically, this research can help people deal with conflict, struggles, and motivation to achieve a goal. This film helps to understand conflict and struggles better and the importance of having motivation to achieve a goal. The result of this study helps us understand how conflicts, struggles, and motivation can have a very strong impact on someone’s life. This study demonstrates how these conflicts, struggles, and motivations can affect a person’s life in the present or in the future.
