Abstract

This study examines the role of herd mentality and work discipline in relation to work motivation at the Notary and PPAT (Land Deed Official) Office of Titi Murni, SH. Using qualitative methods, the researcher collected primary and secondary data through interviews, documentation, and observation. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with employees and participatory observation. This study aims to deeply understand how group dynamics, the influence of the majority, and compliance with work standards and procedures affect employees' intrinsic and extrinsic motivation in performing their duties. The research findings indicate that herd mentality plays a role in fostering team solidarity, mutual assistance, motivation, and a sense of unity. The conclusion of this study highlights the importance of structured leadership in managing group dynamics and the consistent enforcement of work discipline to build a conducive work environment and enhance employee motivation at the Notary and PPAT (Land Deed Official office)
