This study aims to determine the effectiveness of communication and coffee break preparation at food & beverage department Hotel Horison Ultima Bekasi. The research question posed is how the effectiveness of communication and coffee break preparation at food & beverage department Hotel Horison Ultima Bekasi. The method of the research is qualitative with triangulation data. The research subjects are the employees of Food and Beverage department at Hotel Horison Ultima Bekasi. Data collected by interviewing and observing employee’s pastry and banquet section using purposive sampling technique. Data were obtained through literature studies and documentation collected by the author. The results showed that the effectiveness of communication and coffee break preparation at food & beverage department Hotel Horison Ultima Bekasi.
The conclusion of the study is that there is a significant effectiveness of communication and coffee break preparation at food & beverage department Hotel Horison Ultima Bekasi. Suggestions given by the author to pastry section can improve more effective communication to the banquet section as to improve the quality of services provided by Hotel Horison Ultima Bekasi.
